Interior Vs. Exterior
Like previously stated, the Waipouli Beach Resort consists of 8 four-story buildings (A-H) that are laid out in somewhat of an open “U” shape. The interior of the resort faces the resort itself, and the Pacific Ocean, and is where you’ll find the koi pond, fantasy pool, snack bar, and beachfront restaurant & bar, while the exterior of the resort overlooks the East Kauai coastline, and faces the East Kauai Nounou, or “Sleeping Giant,” mountain range and other inner island views.

If you want a condo that is really close to the pool or restaurant, you’ll want to check out the interior resort condos. There are some upper rooms that overlook the pool and offer amazing views of it illuminated at night. Buildings A, B, and H are the buildings located closer to the Oasis on the Beach Restaurant & Bar, making it extra easy to walk back to your room after a fun evening out. And if you’re wanting to be close to the fitness room and lobby area, Building D is a good place to start.
The upper, outer resort condos offer the luxury of not facing the activity that’s going on in the interior areas. For those desiring peace and quiet, the outer rooms of Building G & H face the cultural preserve, and are the quieter rooms in the Waipouli Beach Resort. Some of the upper, exterior rooms also offer outstanding, unobstructed ocean views.

Beachfront ($500+/Night) – Beachfront condos at the Waipouli Beach Resort are for those looking for an over-the-top Kauai vacation. Ocean View ($200/Night – $350/Night) – Desirable ocean view rooms offer fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean, boldly-colored rainbows, and magical Kauai sunsets. Garden/Mountain View ($200/Night & Under) – While garden and mountain view rooms are found throughout the resort, many of them are located on ground level, and also found in Building D. Several of the ground-floor units open up to beautifully landscaped grounds, providing a grassy ‘yard’ area, perfect for families with small children. With garden view rooms, the price is perfect, the privacy is there, and you still get to wake up to incredible views of the Garden Island.
